At approximately 0130 hrs Jefferson Township, NJ firefighters were called to respond to 67 Ripplewood Drive on a well involved house fire after Jefferson Police received numerous phone calls reporting the fire. Upon arrival firefighters found a 1 story ranch type dwelling well involved in fire. A deckgun and ladderpipe were placed in service immediately. Mutual aid Tankers were requested to respond from Mount Arlington, Roxbury, and Hopatcong as well as a Picatinny Arsenal for FAST. The fire was knocked down in about 30 minutes but firefighters remained on scene extinguishing hot spots and overhauling. The occupants of the home escaped without injury. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Jefferson Police Department. Photos By: Adam Alberti
