On January 10, 2008 Dover, NJ firefighters responded to 15 North Sussex St. for a structure fire at the SU CASA COLUMBIA Restaurant. Upon arrival firefighters found fire showing in the area of the vent system. As firefighters opened up they found heavy fire running the attic space. Mutual aid was called to the scene from Rockaway Borough, Randolph, Wharton, and Picatinny Arsenal. Firefighters were forced to go to an exterior attack due to the heavy volume of fire with the structure. Heavy smoke spread through the downtown area . The fire took almost 2 hours to bring under control. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Photos By: Adam Alberti
