On December 5, 2007 around 6:30 PM Passaic firefighters responded to 150 Passaic St. on a reported fire. Upon arrival heavy smoke and fire was showing from the roof of a 3 story ordinary multiple dwelling. Several people were rescued prior to the fire departments arrival and firefighters rescued one trapped occupant. Mutual aid responded to the scene from Clifton, Paterson, Wallington and Carlstadt fire departments. The fire was placed under control at 8:30 PM.
