On August 9, 2009 Parisppany firefighters from Mount Tabor and Lake Parisppany battled a blaze in a 2.5 story wood frame dwelling on West Hedding Pl. Mutual aid responded from the Denville Fire Dept. to assist. Heavy fire conditions raced through the entire home causing severe damage. Firefighters controlled the blaze within 2 hours however remained on scene hitting hot spots and doing overhaul. One firefighter was transported to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Parisppany Police and Morris County Prosecutors Office Arson Squad. Photos By: Adam Alberti
