Rockaway Twp. House Fire 28 Lake Denmark Rd. December 29, 2007 : Around 7pm on Saturday December 29, 2007 Rockaway Township firefighters responded to 28 Lake Denmark Rd. after a passer-by reported a house fire. Engine 511 arrived and confirmed a working house fire. Tankers were immediatley called to the scene due to the lack of hydrants in the area. Firefighters used several handlines to control the blaze which was extending in the walls. Rockaway Fire Co's 1, 2, and 3 worked at the scene. Mutual aid tankers and manpower responded from West Milford Co. #2 and Boonton Twp. The fire was under control within 45 minutes. The homeowners were out when the fire began and arrived home to find the fire department on scene. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Chester, NJ House Fire 22 Dogwood Dr. December 16, 2007 : On Sunday December 16, 2007 Chester, NJ firefighters responded to 22 Dogwood Dr. on a reported house fire around 4:00 P.M. Upon arrival firefighters found a heavy fire condition showing from the garage and extending to the attic of the 1.5 story wood frame home. Mutual aid water tenders from Roxbury, Mendham, Washington Twp, Mendham Twp, and Budd Lake were requested to respond. Mutual aid was also requested from Flanders and Randolph for Rapid Intervention and manpower. The fire was under control within one hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Passaic, NJ 3rd Alarm 150 Passaic St. December 5, 2007 : On December 5, 2007 around 6:30 PM Passaic firefighters responded to 150 Passaic St. on a reported fire. Upon arrival heavy smoke and fire was showing from the roof of a 3 story ordinary multiple dwelling. Several people were rescued prior to the fire departments arrival and firefighters rescued one trapped occupant. Mutual aid responded to the scene from Clifton, Paterson, Wallington and Carlstadt fire departments. The fire was placed under control at 8:30 PM.

Montclair, NJ 3rd Alarm 198 Walnut St. November 1, 2007 : On November 1, 2007 a mid-morning fire tore through a large 2.5 story Queen Anne style dwelling. Mutual aid from surrounding cities assisted the Montclair Fire Department. One firefighter suffered non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the fire is under investgiation. Blairstown, NJ 3rd Alarm at 124 Route 94 (Winners Circle BBQ) 9/30/2007 : Just after midnight on September 30th 2007 Blairstown firefighters responded to the Winners Circle BBQ Restaurant on a reported structure fire. Upon arrival companies found heavy smoke showing. Additional alarms were transmitted and extensive mutual aid responded as fire showed from the roof of the 1 story commercial building. The fire was under control around 2:00 A.M. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Washington Boro, NJ 7 Alarm Fire at St.Cloud Hotel 9/27/2007 : Washington Boro, NJ firefighters were alerted around 10:30 p.m. to 33 West Washington Ave. the St. Cloud Hotel on a structure fire with multiple people trapped. When firefighters arrived they made several rescues via ladders. The fire escalated to 7 Alarms bringing mutual aid and about 100 firefighters to the scene from 4 counties. The rapidly spreading fire destroyed the block long hotel and extended to a nearby bank building. Several businesses on the first floor of the hotel were also destroyed. Passaic, NJ 2nd Alarm 96 Park Ave. September 24, 2007 : At approximately 0930 hours on September 24, 2007 Passaic Fire Dispatch recevied numerous calls for a fire at 96 Park Ave. on a reported fire w/occupants trapped. Upon arrival Deputy 1 reported a working fire in a 2.5 story frame dwelling with two occupants trapped on a porch roof. The Passaic Police removed an 11 year old boy from the porch roof using an old wooden painters ladder. When Tower Ladder 1 arrived they removed a 22 year old male via a fire department ground ladder. Companies got two lines in operation and knocked the fire down fast. The originated in the basement and was spreading to the first floor kitchen. Companies had the fire under control with 20 minutes. Union City, NJ 5th Alarm 542 29th St. & Central Ave. August 16, 2007 : North Hudson Regional Fire Rescue responded to a fire at 542 29th St. in Union City, NJ at approximately 11:00 A.M. The fire involved a 3 story wood frame mixed occupied building and quickly escalated to a 5 alarm fire. Heavy fire spread thru-out and into the cockloft. Numerous handlines and two ladderpipes operated. Mutual aid assistance was required from the Jersey City Fire Department. EMS on scene treated numerous firefighters for heat related injuries. The fire was placed under control at 1:44 P.M.

Oxford, NJ General Alarm Route 31 & Wall St. March 21, 2007 : Oxford, NJ - Around 9:40 P.M. fire fighters responded to a building fire at Route 31 & Wall St. Upon arrival they found heavy fire in a large vacant 2.5 story mill building that was undergoing demolishion. Mutual aid was called from more than seven area towns. Heavy fire conditions tore through the building as two tower ladders, and numerous master streams worked to control the blaze. The fire was knocked down by 11:00 P.M. however not declared under control. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation. All Photos By: Adam Alberti

Philadelphia, PA Chestnut St. & 12th Technical Rescue March 3, 2007 : On March 3rd, 2007 Philadelphia fire fighters responded to Sleepy's Mattress at Chestnut St. & 12th St. for a woman that has fallen through the ceiling and was trapped between the 1st and 2nd floors. Though no photos were taken inside the store some photos of the operations were taken. It took about 1 hour to remove the victim who was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

February 26, 2007 : On February 26th Roxbury fire fighters responded to Valley Autobody at 219 Berkshire Valley Road on a reported structure fire. Upon arrival companies found heavy fire showing from the 1 story body shop. Mutual Aid responded to the scene from Wharton, Jefferson, Rockaway Twp, Picatinny Arsenal, Mine Hill, Budd Lake, Chester, and Mt. Arlington. Washington Twp, NJ House Fire 36  South Four Bridges Rd. February 25, 2007 : Around 6pm on February 25, 2007 Washington Twp, NJ (Morris County) fire fighters responded to 36 South Four Bridges Rd. on a house fire. Upon arrival companies found smoke showing and a working fire in the attic area of a 1.5 story wood frame dwelling.
